While today we complain about the heat True North Perspective leads us into the month of August with this silent-night reminder of last winter. If summer be here then we know that winter lurks not far behind.
So complain about the heat if we must but the best advice is that we should absorb it and store it up for use when the Wolf Wind again snarls south out of its Arctic lair.
The above photograph was taken by Ian Covey our Director of Photography as Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, was battered once again last winter in what was a near record-breaking snowfall.
The peaceful quality shown here reminds us of how looks can be deceiving.
With this edition True North Perspective editorial side is taking a holiday so that our limited resources can be focused on raising money to sustain publication. For the next four issues we’ll republish past issues as reminder that we’re here to stay and thrive.
We’ll return in September better and stronger than ever.
